Sleepyhead Renew Eco Underlay is crafted from local recycled foam, making it a smart choice for your home that’s also kind to the environment. Around 80% of the scrap foam we use is sourced in New Zealand, reducing imports and keeping waste out of local landfills.
Recycled Scrap Foam
We source roughly 80% of the scrap foam for this underlay from New Zealand. At the end of life, Renew Eco Underlay can also be fully recycled into new carpet underlay for an ongoing sustainable solution.
Soft Plastic Recycling
Help keep plastic out of our landfills and give it a new life. The packaging for Sleepyhead Renew Eco Underlay is 100% recyclable through the Soft Plastics Recycling Scheme.

If you are re-carpeting and removing old underlay, ask your retailer about the Sleepyhead Recycling Program. When you buy new Sleepyhead underlay we will take back your old underlay and ensure its recycled, sanitistised and re-formulated into fresh new carpet underlay. This helps to reduce the amount of waste going
into landfill and ensures carpet underlay can be reused as an ongoing sustainable product solution.
